Our painting facilities at Sheet Metal Services have received an enormous boost, the acquisition of a GEMA fully automated powder coating booth has been installed February 2017.
The booth not only improves downtime in paint changes as it is self cleaning, but recycles powder using its opti-centre. The fully programmable recipricators which are sensor driven to inform them of sizes of compnonents coming through the booth allows the application of powder efficiently, optimising stock usage.
The facility also offers a quick change of powder to apply colours to small components or prototypes without affecting production too much.
Therefore out with the old
and in with the new.
