Our Amada F1 Laser is de-commissioned and removed, making way for new technology in fibre lasers. SMS has acquired a Trumpf TruLaser 1030 with loader improving our service to customers, faster, cleaner cutting, higher quality, shorter lead times and competitively priced parts. This complements our existing acquisitions, a Trump TruPunch 3000, a resource-efficient universal punch with skeleton-free processing complete with loader and our Gema Powder Coating system with self-cleaning booth and opti-centre.

Below you can see the journey the F1 has taken and the space that will soon house our new laser.

De-commissioning the Amada F1 laser

Work begins on de-commissioning the Amada F1 before it’s moved out of the factory.

The F1 starts to be removed from the factory to begin it’s journey to another fabricator.

The F1 being removed from the factory

The F1 now completely out of the factory waiting to be loaded on to the removal truck.

The F1 lifted on to the removal truck and will now make it’s way to the new owner.

Back in the factory work begins sealing the floor before the installation of our new fibre TruLaser 1030. Additionally low wattage sensor lighting will be fitted to illuminate the area.
